The HUT DAY 2022
HÜTTENTAG 2022 was the fourth event since the steel industry's traditional meeting was realigned in 2019. For the first time, this important industry meeting was now presented in a two-day format. This offered even more time for top-class specialist lectures and extensive networking in these turbulent times.
The steel industry is facing enormous challenges in view of the energy and climate transition. The exploding costs for electricity and gas, which are also associated with supply bottlenecks, are creating additional pressure. Topics such as digitization, "Green Steel", artificial intelligence (AI) or Industry 4.0, to name just a few, also influence the steel industry.
In short: there was a lot to discuss and a lot to discuss. The lecture sessions at HÜTTENTAG 2022 were therefore dedicated to the following key topics:
